Mabliki - History
The first Mabliki version was started in September 2004. The ideia was barelly inspired by the Martin Fowler's Bliki ideia.
I thought that using an Wiki formating in a blog engine was a good ideia, and started working in Mabliki.
Along the way several things changed. The first version (0.1) included the majority of the actual formating engine, but used a templating system based in mason.
Sometime later I started my own company, and started to understand that with that templateing system only perl programmers would used Mabliki. I had also de ideia to write a CMS that allowed designers to create new sites without programming or access to the server.
At that time I started (and wrote in a few months) BWPMS, that can be installed with an
The template system in BWPMS was also completly based in HTML with simple tags. It's the same template system that I used later (with minor changes) in Mabliki 0.2.
In late 2006 I started designing a framework, based in HTML::Mason, and in March 2007 started porting Mabliki to use the Mason Framework, creating that way the version 0.3.

Alias * in the apache vhost configuration, and new sites can be created in the web interface, with completly diferent designs.
